Yoshi Oritatsu, LEED AP and Liftech structural designer, received his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professional accreditation in April 2009. LEED Accredited Professionals are professionals who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources, and processes.
Yoshi has participated in the design, analysis, and modification of container cranes, wharf structures, and other rigging structures. He also contributed to the improvement of Liftech’s proprietary structural analysis program, Liftech Analysis Suite (LAS).
Yoshi, who is bilingual in English and Japanese, holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
